And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment, 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 We gave preference to the Israelites over the other people with Our knowledge 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 These men do say, 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We created them not save with a purpose but most of them know not. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 except those to whom Allah shows mercy. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate. 42
