Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the winds that scatter the dust far and wide, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 and those speeding along with ease, 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 Verily that wherewith ye are threatened is surely true. 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And used to seek forgiveness before dawn. 18 and [would assign] in all that they possessed a due share unto such as might ask [for help] and such as might suffer privation. 19 There are signs in the earth for those who are firm in their faith, 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
