Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or say they: a poet for whom we wait some adverse turn of fortune! 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe. 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Or have they the treasures of your Lord with them? Or have they been set in absolute authority? 37 Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Or that the Unseen in it their hands, and they write it down? 41 Or do they want to entrap [thee in contradictions]? But they who are bent on denying the truth - it is they who are truly entrapped! 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible - 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 Surely a chastisement awaits the wrong-doers even before the coming of that Day; but most of them do not know. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49
