The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
