Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
