Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Almighty God's Truth.
