Highly blessed is He, Who has made fortified spheres in the heavens and has set in it a "lamp" and a shining moon. 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 And the bondmen of the Most Gracious who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them they answer, “Peace”. (Good –bye) 63 and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing; 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 of sin-doubled shall be the chastisement for him on the Resurrection Day, and he shall dwell therein humbled, 69 But only those who repent and believe and act righteously will have their sins replaced by virtue; God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning. 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
