The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
