The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
