The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
