In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

AlifLaamRa. Those are the verses of the Clear Book. 1 We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran; haply you will understand. 2 In revealing this Quran to you, We tell you the best of the stories of which you were unaware. 3 When Joseph said to his father: 'Father, I saw eleven planets, and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating themselves before me' 4 He said: O my son! do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they devise a plan against you; surely the Shaitan is an open enemy to man. 5 And thus will thy Lord choose thee and teach thee of the interpretation of discourses, and will fulfil His favour upon thee and upon the house of Y'aqub even as He fulfilled it upon thy fathers, Ibrahim and Is-haq aforetime; verily thy Lord is Knowing, Wise. 6
