VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
