Nothing has prevented men from believing whenever guidance came to them, save their query, "Has God sent a human being as a messenger?" 94 Say: Had there been in the earth angels walking about as settlers, We would certainly have sent down to them from the heaven an angel as an apostle. 95 Say: 'God suffices as a witness between me and you; surely He is aware of and sees His servants.' 96 And he whom Allah guides, he is led aright; but he whom He sends astray for such you will find no Auliya' (helpers and protectors, etc.), besides Him, and We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf, their abode will be Hell; whenever it abates, We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire. 97 That is their reward because they disbelieved Our revelations and said: When we are bones and fragments shall we, forsooth, be raised up as a new creation? 98 ۞ Do they not realize that God, who has created the heavens and the earth, has the power to create their like? He has given them life for an appointed time of which there is no doubt. The unjust turn away in disbelief (from Our revelation). 99 Say, "Had you owned the treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, you would have locked them up for fear of spending them.
