The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lot said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 161 I am for you an honest Messenger. 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 Do you approach males among the worlds 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said, "Lot, if you do not give up preaching, you will certainly be expelled (from this town)". 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 My Lord! deliver me and my household from that which they work. 169 So We saved him and his household, every one, 170 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 171 Then We destroyed the rest of them, 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 174 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 175
