Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
