The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I swear by the angels who violently pull out the souls of the wicked, 1 By the meteors rushing, 2 By the angels who glide swimmingly, 3 and yet overtake [one another] with swift overtaking: 4 Then those who regulate the affair. 5 [HENCE, think of] the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world,] 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 How his Lord called him in the holy vale of Tuwa, 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 So he showed him the mighty sign. 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 Then gathered he and summoned 23 And then said, “I am your most supreme lord.” 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
