Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the midday brightness 1 and the brooding night! 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
