The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 in outstretched columns. 9
