It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
