Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
