Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
God the Almighty always says the truth.
