The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients." 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
