And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
