Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
