The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
