The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
