Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
