۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
