Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
