This surely is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe: 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 and thereupon that [chastisement] which they were promised befalls them 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 And spread your wing of mercy for the believers following you. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them. 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
