۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
