۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
