Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a straight path, 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
