We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
