▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 With spreading branches. 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
