So what is the matter with these disbelievers, that they stare at you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him)? 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of every East and every West, that We are indeed Able. 40 To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun. 41 Hence, leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
