The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 When the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like); 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed; 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
