The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
