And those the angels take, while still they are wronging themselves -- the angels will say, 'In what circumstances were you?' They will say, 'We were abased in the earth.' The angels will say, 'But was not God's earth wide, so that you might have emigrated in it?' Such men, their refuge shall be Gehenna -- an evil homecoming! -- 97 Except those who were forcibly subdued among men, and the women and children, unable to devise a plan and unaware of the way. 98 For these there is hope that Allah will forgive them, and Allah is Ever Oft Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving. 99 ۞ He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah, finds in the earth Many a refuge, wide and spacious: Should he die as a refugee from home for Allah and His Messenger, His reward becomes due and sure with Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 100
