Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained? 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
