We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 but the leading men of his people said, "Truly, we see that you are obviously lost in error!" 60 He said: O my people! there is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ship. And We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a blind people. 64
