۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
