And the Trumpet shall be blown; then behold, they are sliding down from their tombs unto their Lord. 51 Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth. 52 It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us! 53 This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches. 56 They will have fruits and whatever they desire. 57 Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord. 58 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. 59 ۞ “O Descendants of Adam! Did I not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? Undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.” 60 and that you worship Me? Surely, that is the Straight Path. 61 Still, he misguided a whole throng of you. Did you have no sense? 62 This is hell which ye were promised (if ye followed him). 63 Enter it this Day on account of your denial of the truth." 64 This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] 65 We could take away their sight if We pleased; then they would run around to find the way: But how then would they see? 66 And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error). 67
