Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 and Ad and Pharaoh, the brothers of Lot, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
