Say: 'Go about journeying the earth, and behold the end of those who gave the lie (to the Truth).' 11 Say, "To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To God. He has taken it upon Himself to be merciful. That He will gather you on the Day of Resurrection is beyond all doubt. Those who have forfeited their souls will never have faith." 12 ۞ And to Him belongs whatever dwells in the night and the day; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 13 Say: 'Shall I take for my guardian anyone other than Allah - the Originator of the heavens and earth; He Who feeds and Himself is not fed?' Say: 'Surely I have been commanded to be the first among those who submit (to Allah) and not to be one of those who associate others with Allah in His divinity (even though others may do so).' 14 Say: "Behold, I would dread, were I [thus] to rebel against my Sustainer, the suffering [which would befall me] on that awesome Day [of Judgment]." 15 Who is averted from (such a torment) on that Day, (Allah) has surely been Merciful to him. And that would be the obvious success. 16 And if Allah touch you with affliction, there is none to take it off but He; and if He visit you with good, then He has power over all things. 17 And He is the Supreme, above His servants; and He is the Wise, the Aware. 18 Ask them: 'Whose testimony is the greatest?' Say: 'Allah is the witness between me and you; and this Qur'an was revealed to me that I should warn you thereby and also whomsoever it may reach.' Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with Allah? Say: 'I shall never testify such a thing.' Say: 'He is the One God and I am altogether averse to all that you associate with Him in His divinity.' 19 The people to whom We gave the Book(s) recognise this Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) as they recognise their own sons; those who put their own souls to ruin, do not accept faith. 20
