Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 noble scribes 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
