The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
