The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
