۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
