۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
